At Eminent Development Corporation community is core to our values. President and Founder, Julian Walters lives these values through “Ju-Ju’s Block Party”. An annual event hosted at Penn Park in Madison that highlights the community and brings resources to the neighborhood. Since 2021, Ju-Ju’s Block party has provided filled backpacks for student going back so school, haircuts, scholarships, gift cards and free food for the community. Entertainment such as characters, bouncy houses, and face paint are all provided to children of the community free of charge.
The Block party also serves as a connector between community and resources. In the past years organization specializing in housing, health, education and entrepreneurship have set up booths too engage with families about opportunities they offer.
Eminent Development Corporation is not only a developer of housing but strives to be a developer of communities and the people in them.

This scholarship supports recipients as they embark on their college journey, recognizing their resilience and determination to overcome challenges and achieve success.
